As we all know Isabel Toledo has made a huge name for herself as she designed first lady, Michelle Obama's yellow-gold sequin dress on inauguration day. Ever since, Isabel Toledo has been talked about in the news and among my fashionista friends at Marymount University. She has made huge buzz around campus since she has been awarded designer of the year for Portfolio in Motion 2010.

Isabel Toledo is known for her beautifully crafted dresses. Well!!!! she has now expaned her brand and signed with Payless shoes to launch a new shoe line that will be out in September. Her line will have 7 designs, mostly black flats and black heels.

When I read the article about the shoe line at Payless, I must admit I was in compete shock. First it was hard to think that Isabel Toledo would partner up with such a low end brand. Then I wasn't sure if she new anything about designing shoes. Well come to find out she had created footwear for Anne Klein in the past, which she collaborated with Manolo Blahnik.

She has many talents and I'm excited to see what she'll do next!
